Graffiti Studio

Graffiti Studio takes the experience of spray painting on a train, car, or wall, from the real world to the virtual world provided by your PC. Instead of going out and vandalizing a real-life train, you can do so from the comfort of your own home by picking up a virtual spray can and spray painting a virtual train, car, or wall. If you like your work and you want others to know about it, you can easily post it online.

Graffiti Studio is available for Microsoft’s Windows operating system and for Apple’s Mac OS X. To run the application on your PC, it must meet the following system requirements: 400MHz processor or better, monitor capable of 800x600 resolution or better, 45MB of free disk space, 12MB of RAM. It’s safe to say that any modern PC will easily meet these system requirements.

By default, the Graffiti Studio application comes loaded with just one surface entitled “Less Train”. Hit the “Check Online” button and you will be presented with several other surfaces that you can download and vandalize.

When you launch the application, you will be presented with a list of all available surfaces. Place the mouse over a surface for a small preview to pop up, hit the “Select” button to load it.

The spray can is your brush and the surface you load is your canvas. So let your creative juices flow and start painting anything you want. Your imagination and your skill with the spray can are the only things that limit you here. As LRPD’s online archive shows, some very nice works can be created with the Graffiti Studio application.

You can choose one of three caps and a marker, you can adjust the spray distance, you can pick one of several colors, you can undo, and you can preview your work. When you’re done with it, you can save and upload it to LRPD’s online vandalism archive, which we mentioned above.

Graffiti Studio is freeware. You can vandalize all you want without having to part with your hard earned money.

Don’t worry about getting caught or running out of paint. Graffiti Studio provides a safe, virtual environment for you to vandalize.
